Today’s release is a big step forward for Towbook with the availability of QuickBooks integration.

Our QuickBooks integration supports many key features, including automatically sending completed invoices (in Towbook) directly to your QuickBooks company file. The system will also automatically send payments entered in Towbook directly to your QuickBooks company file.

The system allows you to match (sync) your QuickBooks Customers and Towbook Accounts to eliminate duplicates in QuickBooks. Our integration works with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks for Windows.

Today’s release makes it much easier to view and locate Accounts and Impounds in Towbook.

With this update, we made it easier to locate accounts so that when you go to Accounts in Towbook, you can quickly filter the list by typing in any part of the Account’s name. If you have dozens or hundreds of accounts, this makes locating an account much quicker.

For Impounds, we’ve refreshed the design of the Impound list and made it much easier to filter the list and search for impounds.   These changes are designed to make it much quicker for you to locate an Account or Impound in Towbook and ultimately, save you and your employees time.

This saves time and helps you find the exact record you need in a flash

In our most recent update, we released new features for managing records for Drivers and Trucks in Towbook.

Towbook now has the ability to store files and receipts with each Truck record in the system. With this new update, you can track the warranty expiration and other truck-related files, associating them directly with the individual truck record. This helps reduce the potential for lost information.

You can also now record state-specific license numbers for each Truck, Driver and your company. Included with this feature, you can track the expiration date for each of these important licenses.

This update also includes the ability for you to store files with each drivers record, making it simple to manage items like drivers licenses, drug tests, insurance documentation, and much more.

Today’s release includes big improvements to Towbook’s user interface for Settings.

We updated the user interface for the Settings area of Towbook. Our top priority with this update is making Towbook easier for our customers to manage their company while making it even more powerful. When you login and visit the Settings section of Towbook, you’ll see an updated user interface throughout all of it.

We’re excited to announce that we have added VIN decoding to Towbook.

Now, whenever you enter in a valid 17-digit VIN, the Year, Make, and Model will be filled in automatically. This not only improves efficiency when entering calls by eliminating the need to choose those fields manually but it also helps ensure the correct VIN number is being entered with the call and that the correct make and model is always entered.

Today we released another update to Towbook – Integrated File Storage.

Like always, you can access Towbook (and now your files) from any mobile device or computer – so whether you’re at the office, at home, or on the road, you can access the files you need.

It’s very simple to upload a file and Towbook automatically backs up all of your files, so feel comfortable that your information is always safe and secure.

Files can be added to Towbook under Accounts or Impounds and soon you’ll be able to add files to the system under Dispatching, Drivers, and Trucks as well.

You can store just about any type of file in the system, including PDF’s, Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, Scanned Documents, Private Property contracts and so forth.

• To upload a file for an account, open the account and click Upload Files at the top of the page.
• To upload a file for an impound, open the impound, and click Upload Files at the top of the page.
• Uploaded files are accessible under the account or impound under Files towards the bottom of the page.

To go along with the new Reporting System we released earlier this week, we have expanded our report exporting and printing capabilities.

Users can now configure any report in the system and quickly export or print exactly what they need. Another improvement to the printing and exporting capabilities is the ability to export an expanded set of data for each report.

Today we released our new Reporting System, with great new features and flexibility designed to make reports much easier and more beneficial to you and your business. To access the new reporting system, simply select the Reports Tab on the top menu bar of Towbook and begin to explore all the great new reporting capabilities.
